Presta Valve
* Appearance and structure: It has a thin and long stem with a small diameter, usually with a removable nut at the end.
* Working principle: Loosen the nut at the end of the valve stem, and then press the valve core inside to allow air to enter or exit. Tighten the nut to achieve airtightness and prevent air leakage.
* Application scenarios: Commonly used in road cycling, especially for high-pressure tires on road bikes, as well as in some track bikes and high-end mountain bikes.


Schrader Valve
* Appearance and structure: Resembles the valve on car tires, with a wider and larger-diameter stem, and a spring-loaded valve core inside.
* Working principle: When the air pump is connected, the valve core is pushed open to let air into the tire. After the pump is removed, the spring-loaded valve core automatically closes to prevent air from escaping.
* Application scenarios: Widely used on hybrid bikes, city bikes, and some entry-level mountain bikes. It is also the standard valve type for most bicycle-sharing programs.


Dunlop Valve
* Appearance and structure: Also known as the Woods valve, it has a conical-shaped valve body and uses a rubber seal to achieve an air-tight connection.
* Working principle: Requires a special adapter or a pump with a compatible nozzle for inflation. The conical design ensures a secure connection when the appropriate inflation equipment is used.
* Application scenarios: Mainly found on some older-style bicycles or certain specialty bikes. It is less common in modern bicycle manufacturing.


Woods Valve
* Appearance and structure: Similar to the Dunlop valve, it has a unique structure with a tapered shape.
* Working principle: It also needs a specific inflation device. When inflating, the adapter on the inflation device matches the tapered part of the valve to achieve airtightness, and then the air is pumped into the tire.
* Application scenarios: It is mainly used in some special-purpose bicycles or old-model bicycles. In modern bicycle applications, its usage range is relatively narrow.
